Schuemann went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Tuesday's win over the Reds.
Schuemann homered to give the Athletics a 2-1 lead in the seventh inning and fell a triple shy of the cycle in his first multi-hit game since Aug. 2. It was a much-needed boost for the 27-year-old, as he entered Tuesday in a 2-for-32 slump over his previous 10 games. On the season, he is hitting .233 with seven home runs, 30 RBI, 48 runs scored and 11 steals across 371 plate appearances.
