Triple-A Las Vegas placed Salinas on its full-season injured list after he underwent surgery on his right shoulder July 24, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Salinas hadn't pitched since May 30 before landing on Las Vegas' 7-day IL with the shoulder injury. He presumably tried the rest-and-rehab route to treat the injury, but after making limited progress over the ensuing two months, he ended up being sent in for surgery. Salinas will miss the rest of the season, and his availability for the 2025 campaign could be in jeopardy as well.
