The Athletics recalled Gray from Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday.
The 28-year-old was claimed off waivers by Oakland on Tuesday, and he'll move up to the big leagues Sunday with MLB rosters expanding to 28 players. Gray has been productive at the Triple-A level this season with a .249/.322/.472 slash line and 18 homers in 103 games.
