Petit (8-1) was credited with the win in an extra-innings victory over the Rangers on Friday, firing a perfect 11th inning during which he recorded a strikeout.

The right-hander fired nine of his 11 pitches for strikes in an ultra-efficient performance. Petit is on a nice roll at the moment, posting four straight scoreless outings and seven in his last eight appearances overall.
