The Blue Jays optioned Serven to Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
The 29-year-old is no longer needed on the MLB roster since Danny Jansen is back from paternity leave. Serven went 1-for-3 at the plate during his brief stint with the big club.
