Green earned the save against the Angels on Saturday, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.
Green was summoned to protect a 3-1 lead after Bowden Francis lost a no-hit bid in the ninth inning and did so on 14 pitches. The veteran remains a perfect 14-for-14 in save attempts this year and owns a sterling 1.69 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 36:11 K:BB across 42.2 innings.
