Schneider isn't in Toronto's lineup for Saturday's game versus the Athletics.
Schneider will take a seat Saturday after going 0-for-3 with a strikeout during Friday's series opener. His absence will put Spencer Horwitz at second base and create an opportunity for Addison Barger to start in right field.
