Jimenez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.
Jimenez will exit the starting nine for the series finale in New York while the Blue Jays open up a spot on the left side of the infield for Luis De Los Santos, who will cover third base in his first MLB start. Ernie Clement will slide over to shortstop in place of Jimenez, who has served as the Blue Jays' primary option at the position since Bo Bichette (calf) landed on the shelf July 20. Jimenez hasn't offered much to get excited about from a fantasy perspective, as he's slashing .143/.196/.167 with zero home runs or stolen bases in 15 games since the All-Star break.
