Lopez is on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Buffalo with an oblique injury, Sam Dykstra of MLB.com reports.
The exact nature of the injury is unclear, but Lopez suffered it in spring training, so he could be back in a week or two. Lopez will provide infield depth this season after making a brief big-league debut in 2021.
