Lopez went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Diamondbacks.
Lopez is up to 31 steals on the year, though he's just 2-for-3 on the basepaths over 15 games in September. He has logged five multi-hit efforts while batting .316 (18-for-57) this month. The infielder has maintained good contact skills all year, batting .306 with a .787 OPS, 10 home runs, 69 RBI, 89 runs scored, 31 doubles and nine triples across 149 contests.

Marlins' Otto Lopez: Reaches 30 steals
Lopez went 2-for-4 with a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Cubs.
The steal was Lopez's 30th of the season, marking the first time in his career he's reached that plateau. Lopez has been bouncing around the batting order of late against right-handed pitching -- he hit seventh Sunday, the first time all year he's been in the bottom third -- but he's remained fairly productive, slashing .264/.298/.396 over his last 13 games with four extra-base hits including one homer, along with five steals, five RBI and eight runs.

Lopez sat out the Marlins' last two games while recovering from a finger injury he suffered while fielding a groundball Saturday. The issue appears to have subsided ahead of Tuesday's contest, however, so he'll reclaim his regular spot at shortstop. The 27-year-old has had an outstanding July up to this point, slashing .345/.377/.618 with two homers, nine RBI, eight runs and two steals in 13 games.

Marlins manager Clayton McCullough said after Saturday's 8-6 loss to the Brewers that Lopez will get his right ring finger tested after a ground ball "got the nail pretty good," Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Lopez took a ground ball to his right ring finger in the second inning of Saturday's game. He was able to stay in the contest, but he'll undergo more tests to determine the severity of the injury. Leo Jimenez and Javier Sanoja could see some reps at shortstop if Lopez were to miss time.

Lopez went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a walk, three total RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-8 win over the Athletics.
Lopez is sizzling with a trio of three-hit games over his last four contests. He's also homered in consecutive games and has at least one extra-base hit in five of his last eight games.
