The Blue Jays outrighted Espino to Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Espino was removed from the 40-man roster earlier this week but has cleared waivers and will remain in the organization. The swingman holds a 5.18 ERA over 73 innings with Buffalo in 2024.
