Tellez will hit the bench against southpaw Jordan Montgomery and the Yankees on Tuesday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Tellez has made just a single start against a lefty all year, so it's not surprise to see him on the bench against Montgomery. Bo Bichette will rest his legs as the designated hitter in his absence while Marcus Semien shifts over to shortstop and Joe Panik starts at second base.
