Vaughn is absent from the lineup for Friday's contest against the Rockies.
Vaughn has been the biggest beneficiary of Sal Frelick's (shoulder) absence, having started each of the previous four games, but he will begin Friday's tilt on the bench. Jake Bauers will play first base, and Luis Lara will patrol right field for the Brewers.
