Anderson (shoulder) will be activated from the 10-day injured list to start Wednesday against the Cardinals, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
It was reported earlier in the week that Anderson was trending toward being activated for Wednesday's start, and now the club has confirmed that will indeed be the case. Anderson hasn't pitched since suffering a left shoulder contusion during his Sept. 1 outing against San Francisco, but he's slated to return to a big-league mound without going on a rehab assignment. The veteran southpaw will be resuming his campaign with a 4.18 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 56:26 K:BB through 88.1 innings.
