The Brewers reinstated Hamilton (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Friday, Hunter Baumgardt of Fox Sports 920 Milwaukee reports.
After completing a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville, Hamilton's 17-day stint on the IL comes to an end. Before being placed on the injured list on July 7, the 28-year-old slashed .240/.317/.333 with three homers and 15 RBI in 237 plate appearances. Milwaukee designated Braden Shewmake for assignment to make room for Hamilton on the active roster.
