Mitchell is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.

The Brewers will send the left-handed-hitting Mitchell to the bench while southpaw Robbie Ray takes the hill for the Padres. Brandon Lockridge will step in for Mitchell in center field and will bat seventh.
