The Brewers activated Sanchez (calf) from the 10-day injured list Wednesday.
Sanchez missed the previous month of action with a strained left calf. The Brewers will carry three catchers for the time being, which will give the team the option of using Sanchez, William Contreras or Eric Haase at designated hitter on days they're not catching.
