The Brewers placed Anderson on the 15-day injured list Monday due to right ankle tendinitis.
He'll be eligible to return Sept. 8, but it's unclear if Anderson will be ready to go by that date. The right-handed reliever has pitched well out of the Brewers bullpen this season, posting a 2.87 ERA and 66:27 K:BB over 62.2 innings.
