Mendez is back on the 7-day injured list with High-A Wisconsin.
He missed four weeks from mid-April to early-May with an undisclosed injury and only played in five games before ending up back on the injured list. Mendez, 19, is one of the youngest hitters at High-A and has been exactly league average (100 wRC+) while slashing .227/.370/.273 with zero home runs, zero steals and a 6:5 K:BB in 27 plate appearances.
