Milwaukee optioned Brosseau to Triple-A Nashville on Monday.
Brosseau had been on the roster primarily to hit lefties, but he had managed just a .571 OPS versus southpaws for the season. He'll now head to the minors to make room for Luis Urias (hamstring), who was reinstated from the 60-day injured list.
