Brothers signed a minor-league deal with the Brewers on Tuesday which includes an invitation to spring training.
Brothers spent last season with the Cubs and struggled to a 5.26 ERA in 53 innings, with his 14.8 percent walk rate offsetting a 31.8 percent strikeout rate. The veteran lefty may not have much left in the tank heading into his age-34 season, but it won't cost the Brewers much to find out.
