Tellez (kneecap) participated in infield drills ahead of Wednesday's game against the Cardinals, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Tellez has been on the injured list since Sept. 12 due to a strained right patella, but he's now participating in baseball activities. A better timetable for his return should be revealed once he ramps up his activity level, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him rejoin the major-league roster late in the regular season or sometime during the postseason.
