Brewers manager Pat Murphy said Thursday that the team plans to give Frelick another look at third base next season, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Frelick played third base often during spring training but moved back to the outfield when Garrett Mitchell fractured his hand shortly before Opening Day and played just four innings at third during the season. However, the club was pleased with how Frelick looked at the hot corner and like the option of using him there, even if it might not be on a regular basis.
