Lutz underwent sports hernia surgery over the offseason but is expected to be ready for the start of the minor-league season, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Lutz dealt with several injuries over the last six months, but he has been able to take batting practice this spring and should be back in playing shape when affiliates begin playing in early April.
