Adames (quadriceps) isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Reds.
Adames' exclusion from the lineup was expected after he exited Tuesday's contest with left quadriceps discomfort. Manager Craig Counsell didn't sound too concerned about the injury following Tuesday's matchup, and the 25-year-old is considered day-to-day.
