Adames (quadriceps) is not in the lineup Monday against the Giants, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Adames served as the designated hitter the past two days after sitting out the previous three games with a quadriceps injury, and he's apparently not quite ready to play the field. Luis Urias will receive another start at shortstop in his absence while Jace Peterson continues to work at third.
