Bregman went 1-for-3 with two walks and a three-run home run in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Padres.
The veteran third baseman connected for his seventh home run of the season in the second inning against San Diego starter JP Sears. Bregman is struggling overall this month with a .200 batting average and 12 RBI in 25 games, and he's yet to really hit his stride in Chicago. His current .690 OPS would be the lowest of his 11-year MLB career.
