The veteran shortstop started the first two games of the series after being reinstated from the injured list Friday, so it's likely just a rest day for him after going 3-for-7 with a solo homer in those contests. Nico Hoerner is taking Swanson's place at shortstop, which opens up the keystone for Pedro Ramirez.
