Hoerner is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Tigers.
Hoerner started Monday but returns to the bench in favor of Jason Kipnis on Tuesday. Kipnis has outperformed Hoerner so far offensively, and that figures to keep the latter out of the lineup more often than not, at least in the short term.
