Marlins reserve infielder Jeff Baker will get his second start of the season and first at second base Saturday in San Francisco and will bat sixth, filling in for Dee Gordon, who’s out of the lineup (leg) for the second straight game.
Gordon is dealing with a sore right leg muscle. He is expected to be back in the starting lineup for Sunday's game, according to MLB.com.
In 12 at-bats this season, Baker has three hits and one double.
