Suarez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 11-5 loss to the Astros.
The third baseman took Yusei Kikuchi deep in the sixth inning to bring Arizona to within a run of Houston at 5-4, but it was as close as the visitors would get. Suarez has gone yard five times in his last nine games, and his turnaround in the second half of the season has been nothing short of incredible. Through his first 81 games, he slashed a feeble .198/.283/.313 with just six homers and 32 RBI. Since a two-homer performance on July 3, Suarez has delivered a .303/.354/.642 slash line with 19 long balls and 56 RBI in only 58 contests.
