Perdomo isn't in the Diamondbacks' lineup Friday against the Padres.
After going 1-for-3 with a double Wednesday against the Dodgers, Perdomo will take a seat for Friday's series opener against San Diego. Nick Ahmed will start at shortstop and bat eighth in Perdomo's place.
