Marte went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Monday's 7-5 loss to the Padres.

Prior to Marte's blast, the Diamondbacks floundered on offense and in the field, which prompted a lecture from manager Torey Lovullo. The manager doesn't need to lecture Marte, whose homer extended his hit streak to 11 games, during which he's 15-for-40 (.375) with four home runs, three doubles and 12 RBI. Going back further, he's reached base safely in 19 consecutive contests.
