Marte will sit Friday against the Brewers.

Marte will sit for the fourth time in 16 games since his return from a hamstring injury in mid-May. He struggled initially upon his return but has been on fire over his last five games, going 11-for-21 with a pair of homers, two doubles and just a single strikeout. Pavin Smith will handle center field in his absence.
