Wright signed a minor league contract with the Diamondbacks on Monday, Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports.
The 30-year-old reliever pitched in 11 major league games last season with varying success (3.68 ERA and 1.23 WHIP overall). He will now join the Diamondbacks, but will do so on a minor league deal that likely indicates he'll begin the season at Triple-A. However, the veteran southpaw joins a contending team, and could eventually work his way to the majors if he performs well enough.
