Muncy went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Friday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Pirates.
Muncy replied to the Pirates' opening run with his two-run homer in the first inning. The third baseman has gone 10-for-34 (.294) over his last 11 contests, adding four homers and 14 RBI in that span. For the season, he's hitting .252 with an .848 OPS, 26 homers, 66 RBI, 67 runs scored, 18 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases over 119 contests. While he's been effective, a healthy Enrique Hernandez will likely lead to Muncy getting platooned more often down the stretch.
