Muncy is out of the Dodgers lineup for Friday's series opener against the Mets.

Despite Thursday's day off for the Dodgers, Muncy will ride the bench for Friday's matchup. Tommy Edman will move over to third base and bat third for the Dodgers in Muncy's absence.
