Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
He will retreat to the bench while Tommy Edman picks up the start at shortstop Sunday. Since returning from the injured list Aug. 7 after recovering from forearm tightness, Rojas has sizzled at the plate with a .349/.364/.460 slash line to go with 10 RBI and 10 runs in 19 games.
