Giants' Bryce Eldridge: Mashes homer in win

Eldridge went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Astros.

Eldridge took Hunter Brown deep in the fifth inning to put the Giants up 3-1. After dealing with a bruised thumb earlier in the month, Eldridge has struggled a bit, going just 4-for-24 (.167) over his last six games, though two of those knocks have gone for extra bases. On the year, the 21-year-old is batting. 248 with a .775 OPS, 12 homers, 29 RBI, 38 runs scored, 15 doubles and one stolen base over 77 contests.
