Schmitt went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 6-3 win over the Diamondbacks.
Schmitt went yard in the fourth inning to give the Giants a 4-2 lead. The infielder has gone 6-for-14 (.429) with four RBI since he rejoined the major-league roster last week. For the season, he's posted a .240/.267/.460 slash line with six homers, 14 RBI, 10 runs scored, two doubles and one triple over 36 major-league contests.
