Solano was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday.
Solano's stay in the minors lasted all of one day, and he'll head right back to the big leagues with Travis Bergen (shoulder) landing on the injured list. Solano should return to the bench role he'd occupied previously for the Giants.
