Miller (elbow) will throw a live batting practice session Monday, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
It would appear to be the first time Miller has faced hitters since he was shelved a month ago with a sprained left elbow. He's expected to require at least a couple rehab appearances before rejoining the Giants' bullpen, setting Miller up to return around mid-August if all goes well.
