Miller will serve as the Giants' opening pitcher in Sunday's game against the Rockies, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Jordan Hicks was slated to start in the series finale Sunday, but it looks like he'll be available out of the bullpen as a bulk reliever behind Miller. The left-handed reliever will be serving as an opener for the 10th time this season. Over his last 10 appearances, Miller has posted a 1.86 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 14:5 K:BB across 9.2 innings.
