Wade will open the season in the injured list due to inflammation and a bone bruise in his left knee, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Wade left Monday's Cactus League game against the Brewers with the injury and underwent an MRI, which revealed an injury bad enough to shut him down for at least 10 days. He'll be re-evaluated after that period of rest has been completed, at which point a more precise timeline for his return should become clear. Austin Slater and Steven Duggar could see more playing time in the outfield until Wade returns.
