Wade isn't starting Friday against the Diamondbacks, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Wade went 3-for-7 with a double, two runs, an RBI and a walk over the last two games but will retreat to the bench with left-hander Tommy Henry on the mound for Arizona on Friday. J.D. Davis is starting at first base and batting fifth.
