Wade isn't in the Giants' lineup for Saturday's game versus Detroit, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Wade will get a chance to regroup Saturday after going 5-for-24 with a home run since the start of August. While he rests, Mark Canha will get the starting nod at first base and bat sixth.
