Rogers (1-4) allowed two runs on two hits over one inning to take the loss Thursday versus the Dodgers.
The Giants erased a two-run deficit in the top of the eighth inning, but Rogers gave it all back in the bottom of the frame by giving up back-to-back solo home runs to Nick Ahmed and Shohei Ohtani. This was Rogers' second loss in the span of a week, and he's allowed three homers over his last 3.1 innings. The right-hander is at a 3.33 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 34:3 K:BB with a save and 21 holds over 48.2 innings. He allowed only seven homers in 74 innings a year ago, but he's given up six long balls already this season.
