Flores' $3.5 million club option for 2022 was picked up by the Giants on Sunday, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Flores will remain in San Francisco for a third straight year after he slashed .262/.335/.447 with 18 homers, 57 runs and 53 RBI across 139 appearances in 2021. The 30-year-old will likely serve as a utility man once again in 2022.
