Naylor is absent from the Guardians' lineup for Monday's game versus the White Sox.

Naylor had started three straight -- including both legs of a doubleheader Sunday -- after missing two games with leg tightness. He'll begin this game on the bench, though, even as the White Sox are starting a right-handed opener (Jimmy Lambert) and are expected to use a right-handed bulk innings guy (Jesse Scholtens).
