Nola extended the Mariners' lead to 2-0 with his solo shot off Rangers starter Mike Minor in the second inning. The 30-year-old Nola has his safely in five straight games, going 8-for-20 (.400) with two homers, seven RBI and six runs scored in that span. The catcher is slashing .298/.344/.524 with four homers, 16 RBI and 12 runs scored in 24 games overall this year.
